Warning letters sent to parents in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s UK area over new school rules

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children are set to attend a private school in the UK — and parents have already been warned about new strict rules surrounding the young royals.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield exclusively told Page Six that residents in the Cotswolds — the posh countryside enclave where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been house-hunting — were contacted by school officials about new school rules pertaining to high-profile students.

“The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest,” Schofield said.

The letter also allegedly stated that they aim to make sure all children can enjoy school life in “a safe, happy, and private environment.”

“It then reminded parents and carers not to photograph or film other children without permission, or share photographs, information or details about pupils or their families on social media,” Schofield shared.

The “Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered” podcast host heard from a source that the Sussexes had “approached multiple schools” before relocating across the pond.

Page Six has chosen not to name the school the letters were sent from for privacy reasons.

Harry and Markle had lived in Montecito, Calif., with their kids — Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5 — for six years after resigning from their royal duties in 2020.

The couple shocked the world earlier this month when news broke that they would be moving back to England for “an extended period.”

Sources told Page Six at the time that Harry wanted his kids to live closer to his dad, King Charles III, who revealed his cancer diagnosisin 2024. We’re told Harry also wants Archie and Lilibet to build relationships with other royal family members.

Last Wednesday, the As Ever founder, 45, and Harry, 41, quietly movedout of their $14 million Montecito estate and flew a six-figure charter on a private jetto the UK.

Page Six exclusively reported that Harry and Markle turned to British hedge fund billionaire Ian Waceto help them financially with their move. Though it is not believed that he is funding their entire stay in the UK.

While it isn’t immediately clear where the “Spare” author and Markle have settled down, Page Six exclusively reported last week that they had been searching for a home in the Cotswolds earlier this year.

Royal journalist Tom Sykes told Page Six at the time that Harry was drawn to the area because it is home to Charles and Camilla’s Highgrove House residence.

“Obviously, that’s where he grew up, living with his father and brother there, and has happy memories,” Sykes said.

The affluent stretch of rolling countryside in southwest England is known for attracting A-list homeowners like David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Simon Cowell.

The area is notably a two-hour drive from Windsor, where Harry’s estranged brother, Prince William, lives with Kate Middleton and their three children, Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.

Next week, George is expected to start Year 9 at Eton College, which is just across the River Thames from Windsor Castle.

Charlotte and Louis, for their part, attend the Lambrook School nearby.

It’s highly unlikely Harry’s kids will reunite with William’s children amid ongoing tensions between the brothers, who have been feudingsince the younger brother walked away from the monarchy.

However, icy tensions have been thawingbetween Harry and his dad, who learned of his son’s return just days before he and Markle moved back to his home country.
