Howard Stern’s Howard 101 SiriusXM channel has been dropped after a dozen staffers were laid offearlier this summer.
According to a channel lineup announcement from the broadcasting platform, “notable changes” include Andy Cohen’s Radio Andy moving from channel 102 to channel 101, “while Howard 101 leaves the lineup.”
Howard 100 will remain on channel 100.
A rep for Stern did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Friday evening.
The news comes over a month after Page Six reported that the shock jock laid off around 12 staffers — via Zoom — as he geared up to drop a single show per week beginning after Labor Day.
The affected employees were said to have been sent home “immediately” following the call, and would receive severance packages based on how long they’d worked with the network.
Though the Sun reported that some staffers were offered around one week of pay per year worked, another source told the outlet that some workers were “feeling OK” about their packages after negotiating their exits.
Stern signed a three-year contract with SiriusXM in December 2025 that, according to him, would afford him “flexibility.”
“I am happy to announce that I have figured out a way to have it all,” Stern told listeners at the time. “More free time and continuing to be on the radio.”
His previous five-year contract with the network was worth $500 million.
The comedian’s wife, Beth Stern, later divulged on Cohen’s Sirius show, “I think his new schedule is working out really well for him.”
Howard was sued earlier this year by an ex-assistant for allegedly creating a hostile work environment, but the lawsuit was dismissed “in its entirety” by a New York State Supreme Court judge in July.
Nearly a month later, he surfaced in the Hamptons for a rare appearance with Beth for an event on Wednesday.
The radio personality, 72, and his wife, 54, attended John Mayer’s SiriusXM performance at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York, alongside A-listers including Brooke Shields and Cohen.
The public appearance was a long time in coming for the couple — previously, they’d last been seen at the launch of the “Maximum Metallica” channel on SiriusXM at Stephen Talkhouse in August 2025.
The comedian faced scrutiny earlier this month over his alleged business practices after the Sun reported that female staffers for Howard “are not allowed to wear sneakers at work” and hide their shoes under desks at the SiriusXM office in New York City.
“I know of people that still like keep like non-sneakers in case certain execs are expected in the offices,” an insider alleged to the outlet.
A separate report from the outlet claimed that “People were warned before any company parties not to speak to Howard,” and noted that “people have actually gotten fired for it” and called the company environment “cultish.”
