EXCLUSIVE: FX‘s drama pilot Seven Sisters has cast the remainder of the siblings joining Elizabeth Olsen and Cristin Milioti as part of the core family: Meredith Hagner, Odessa Young, Zoë Winters, Bridget Brown, and Carolyn Kettig play the remaining five sisters, and Phil Ettinger will play their brother.

They join Anthony Edwards and J. Smith-Cameron, who play the patriarch and matriarch, Paul and Franchesa Bosco, respectively.

The project, from FX Productions, follows a large, tight-knit family that begins to unravel when a sister (Olsen) starts communicating with a voice no one else can hear, forcing them to confront long-buried secrets.

Seven Sisters is executive produced by Will Arbery, who wrote the pilot; Sean Durkin, who will direct it; and Garrett Basch. If the pilot goes forward, it would mark Basch’s fifth series for FX, where his company Dive has a long-standing first-look deal, following Devs, Reservation Dogs, What We Do in the Shadows, and Sterlin Harjo’s upcoming Tulsa noir drama starring Ethan Hawke.

Watch on Deadline

Hagner can most recently be seen starring in the AppleTV+ drama series Bad Monkey and Prime Video’s You’re Cordially Invited. Additional credits include HBO Max’s Search Party, Hulu’s Palm Springs, and The Oath.

Up next, she will be seen in Kristoffer Borgli’s new film, The Drama for A24. Most recently, she was seen in Amy Berryman’s play Walden opposite Emmy Rossum. Winters is represented by WME and Anonymous Content.

Brown is best known for her performance in the feature Wiener-Dog, which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. His TV credits include HBO’s limited series I Know This Much is True, Peacock’s Angelyne and Bupkis, and most recently, Paramount+’s Happy Face.
