Meghan Markle’s sister, Samantha Markle, criticized the actress after claims she reached out to their father, Thomas Markle, following the emergency amputation of his leg.
On Friday, Samantha took to X with a series of tweets blasting the Duchess of Sussex and her alleged “PR bulls–t.”
In one entry, Samantha responded to a tweet reading, “Breaking: Meghan has today ‘reached out’ to Thomas Markle since his Philippines hospital drama. But. It is unclear yet if father and daughter have spoken for first time since 2018.”

“You’re also gullible,” Samantha, 61, wrote. “Believe it if he’s put on a private jet and put into one of the best hospitals in the United States for care. Until then don’t hold your breath. It’s likely a PR stunt because of public scrutiny.”
In another tweet, the older sister of the As Ever founder wrote, “Houston there’s been no contact… Time to stop the PR b******* Medusa.”
She added in a separate entry, “Having paparazzi lurking and bushes doesn’t constitute reaching out LOL.”
Page Six has reached out to a rep for the Duchess of Sussex but did not immediately hear back.

A spokesperson for Meghan confirmed to Page Six on Friday that the “Suits” alum, 44, contacted her father, 81, following news that he’d had his left leg amputated at a hospital in the Philippines after a blood clot blocked circulation.
“I can confirm she has reached out to her father,” the spokesperson told us.
Meghan’s brother, Thomas Markle Jr., confirmed to the Daily Mail on Thursday that Thomas Sr.’s three-hour surgery had taken place, calling their father “very brave.”
“His foot turned blue and then black. It happened very quickly,” he told the outlet in part.

Thomas Sr. was taken via ambulance to a facility in Cebu, Philippines, where he was rushed into surgery to have the limb amputated in what his son described as “a case of life or death.”
Doctors are “extremely concerned,” Thomas Jr. told the Daily Mail, noting that Meghan’s father will face an additional surgery to remove a blood clot in his left thigh.
“One of his doctors said the next two or three days are critical,” Thomas Jr. explained.
“His left leg has been removed below the knee. They were worried about infection setting in — sepsis or gangrene. The flesh was black and dying.”

Thomas Jr. initially told the outlet on Dec. 2 that his father was in the intensive care unit after an emergency surgery earlier this week.
Samantha told the Daily Mail at the time, “My father has been through two heart attacks, a stroke and an earthquake. I hope he can pull through this.”
Thomas Sr. — who welcomed Samantha and Thomas Jr. with his first ex-wife, Roslyn Markle, and Meghan with ex Doria Ragland — famously skipped Meghan and Prince Harry’s 2018 royal nuptials due to heart surgery.
He’s continued having health problems, later facing a stroke in Tijuana in 2022, a health setback Samantha blamed on Meghan at the time.
