Liz Cho is reportedly being ordered to fork over six years worth of private text messages to her estranged ex, former CBS anchor Josh Elliott, as their messy divorce battle rages on in court.
Despite initially fighting against the request, the ABC Eyewitness News anchor agreed to produce all cell phone communications with any alleged lovers during a July 24 virtual hearing, Daily Mail reported Thursday.
The new order came after Elliott agreed to Cho’s demand that he supply all of his communications with any alleged extramarital “sexual” partners.
It is unclear why Elliott has requested to see her phone records from this specific time frame. Notably, there is no evidence that either of them had any extramarital affairs.
Additionally, according to the outlet, Judge Steven Dembo ruled that Cho must supply conversations in which she, or someone speaking on her behalf, allegedly communicated with journalists about their bitter split.
On top of that, Cho has reportedly been asked to provide more information about why she made a $500,000 transfer from their joint bank account to her teenage daughter from a previous marriage in October 2025. (Each party has daughters from previous relationships).
The judge has asked Cho to supply any receipts for any transactions she made regarding her previous marriage over the past 11 years. It’s unclear why such receipts are relevant to their divorce proceedings.
Cho and Elliott are due back in court on Friday.
Elliott filed for divorce from Cho after nearly a decade of marriage on June 20, 2025.
Page Six exclusively reported in March that the divorce battle turned nasty when Cho requested “copies of written correspondence, emails, cards, WeChat messages, Facebook messages, social media messaging, instant messaging, telephonic text messages, transcribed voicemail messages or any written forms of communication” between Elliott and “any person, other than the defendant, with whom [Elliott] have or have had a romantic and/or sexual relationship, from July 11, 2015, to the present.”
Cho accused Elliott of moving a “significant amount of furniture and furnishings from the marital residence,” as well as “two Portuguese water dogs,” whom she claimed were supposed to stay in their $4.2 million Connecticut marital home.
She also claimed that Elliott was the only person who had access to a valuable watch and earrings that had gone missing from her jewelry bag.
Elliott, who has been back on the dating scene, objected to her request and denied her allegations, calling them “false and inflammatory.”
Cho previously argued that Elliott hand over financial and travel records — a request Elliott called “unreasonable, unnecessary [and] harassing.”
The full-blown court stand-off has continued to expose several private moments between the estranged pair, including an alleged fight over grapes.
Per court documents obtained by Page Six, Cho allegedly “lash[ed] out” at Elliott for packing her grapes in his daughter’s lunch.
Reps for Elliott and Cho did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
