Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie decline invitation to Kate Middleton’s Christmas carol service

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie declined Kate Middleton’s invitation to attend her annual Christmas carol service as the sisters continue to keep a low profile amid their father’s scandal.

Eugenie, 35, revealed she and her sister, 37, won’t be in attendance to Friday night’s event via her Instagram Stories as she reshared the Prince and Princess of Wales’ post.

“Wish Bea and I could have been celebrating tonight with our family,” she wrote.

“Wishing @princeandprincessofwales such a special evening at her incredible carol service. What an amazing message of love and hope.”

Middleton, 43, reportedly extended personal invitations in a deliberate effort to present a united family front in light of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s recent scandal, royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News in November.

Beatrice and Eugenie maintained their royal titles while their father was stripped of his “prince” title in October due to his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

Shortly after the announcement, the princesses quietly jetted out of the U.K. They were later seen back in London on Nov. 6.

In addition to King Charles confiscating his brother’s title and honors, he also evicted Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson from their royal lodgings.

“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,” Buckingham Palace told Page Six in a statement Oct. 30.

“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”

The title removal went into effect immediately and also applies to Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, Baron Killyleagh and “His Royal Highness.” Ferguson was also ordered to relinquish her Duchess of York title.

Most recently, a source revealed that Mountbatten-Windsor and Ferguson have been given a move-out date of Jan. 31.

The insider added that the former Duchess of York is searching “for a place in Windsor.”

Another insider previously informed Page Six that the former Prince would be relocating to a property on the private Sandringham estate.
