A Fox News pundit-turned-Trump appointee has infuriated the commander in chief… again.
No, it’s not Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth or national security adviser Michael Waltz — this time it’s U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro.
“I disagree 100% with Jeanine Pirro,” Trump roared on Truth Social Saturday. “I don’t know what she was thinking?”
Trump’s frustration with Pirro stemmed from her recent decision to drop charges against U.S. Olympic canoeist David Hearn over baseless claims that vandals sabotaged a slap-dash renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
Pirro on Friday admitted in a court filing in D.C. Superior Court that damage to the pool’s sealant had been caused by “flawed installation.”
Pirro said there was evidence to “significantly undermine the evidentiary basis for the indictment.”
Trump disagreed.
“To me, it was a pure case of VANDALISM, that included the grass, which had a big 86 47 emblazoned in giant letters on it, and other elements of the surrounding area,” Trump claimed.
“There may have been some contractor difficulty, but the major damage was caused by VANDALS! President DJT.”
Trump frequently lambasts his former Fox friends.
The president raged at Hegseth for mistakenly targeting Poland after Germany made Trump mad.
Waltz mistakenly added The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief to a Signal group chat with senior national security officials to discuss imminent strikes in Yemen.
