‘Shut up’: Attorney buries Ghislaine Maxwell’s ‘appalling’ new request

Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has planned to ask a judge to release her from federal prison, citing concerns over her safety if the Jeffrey Epstein files and grand jury records are released.

Arick Fudali, who represents several Epstein survivors, told MS NOW on Thursday that he hopes Maxwell remains behind bars and called her “entitled” and that she lives in an “alternate reality.”

“I certainly don’t know of any grounds that would allow a convicted child sex trafficker who was already in a minimum security, resort-style prison, to be released from prison,” Fudali said. “I’m unfamiliar with any authority that would give her the grounds, and frankly, I think it’s ridiculous. I think it’s insulting. I think it’s appalling that she’s continuing to interfere, that she’s continuing to try to get more and more special treatment.”

Maxwell, who is serving 20 years for helping Epstein recruit and abuse young girls, was quietly moved from a Florida prison to Camp Bryan in southeast Texas in August.

She has reportedly wanted a pardon from President Donald Trump, which he has not entirely ruled out, Fudali added.

“Ghislaine Maxwell is probably the most nicely treated convicted child sex trafficker I’ve ever heard of,” Fudali added. “I don’t know of any other convicted child sex traffickers who are allowed to play with puppies and are getting special meals, and their minimum security resort, so frankly, I think she should just, you know, shut up, really, and just sit behind bars and wait out the rest of her sentence.”

Maxwell filed a court petition on Wednesday to release her from the minimum-security federal camp in Texas.

In a letter filed by her attorney, David Oscar Markus, in a Manhattan Federal Court on Wednesday, Maxwell did not include details about why she was filing the habeas petition.

The British socialite and longtime associate of Epstein was arrested in July 2020 by federal agents in New Hampshire on multiple charges related to her role in Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking operation.
