Trump vows Maggie Haberman ‘will pay the price’ after she questions his mental fitness

President Donald Trump on Saturday threatened New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman after she appeared on MS NOW and questioned his health and mental fitness.

Haberman fielded questions about Trump’s health after a week of gaffes that saw him refer to Iran as the “Islamic State of Japan” and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Vladimir Putin.

“His health is like a black box inside that administration,” Haberman said. “They have released less and less information.”

Haberman noted Trump’s speech has lost “crispness” and referenced an interview during which he came prepared with a list of the top ten world leaders she referred to as “monsters” such as Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler.

She argued Trump wanted to wield authoritarian power during his first administration but was undermined by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The president America witnesses today, she described as “pure Trump.”

Trump responded to this interview on Truth Social with outrage and unbridled threats.

“She has made a living off her bad reporting, and will pay the price when our Multi Billion Dollar Lawsuit against The Failing New York Times gets to Court, which should not be that long,” Trump wrote. “Maggot is a loser!”

Trump then tackled the question of his health.

“Also, I just finished a perfect physical at Walter Reed, I do it every six months, and I requested another Cognitive Test, the only President to do so, three times, and I aced them all — Got every question right,” he wrote. “Few people in Washington, D.C., could do so, including Maggot.”
