Pop Star Olivia Rodrigo isn’t just complaining about Donald Trump administration’s exploitation of her music—she’s mobilizing her fanbaseto vote against them.
Following her public outrage over the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) pairing her song “All-American B—h” with footage of ICE officers tackling and detaining immigrants, the pop star has announced a strategic partnership with HeadCount.org, a voter-registration organization focused on engaging younger voters through music.
Rodrigo announced a contest offering fans the chance to win VIP tickets to her Daisy Chain Fields tour—a star-studded music festival featuring powerhouse performers including Chapell Roan, Doechii, Santigold, Sarah McLachlan, The Breeders, a resurgent Bikini Kill and Stevie Nicks.
The catch: fans must register to vote to enter.
“Take action for a chance to win two VIP tickets to Daisy Chain Fields, including travel and hotel!” the contest poster on Instagram reads.
The announcement follows Rodrigo’s British Vogue cover interview, published recently, revealing she’s still fuming about the administration’s weaponization of her music which she called “awful” and “dystopian.”
