Taylor Swift reportedly walked down the aisle to one of her biggest songs

Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” came true at her Madison Square Garden wedding.

The pop star walked down “an extra long aisle” to a string quartet version of her 2008 hit “Love Story,” ahead of exchanging vows with her now-husband, Travis Kelce, Us Weekly reported.

Swift and Kelce were both highly emotional as they exchanged their vows, the outlet also reported.

“The heartfelt vows took everyone back to how they first met and the journey that led them here,” a source shared.

A second source said, “Travis teared up more than Taylor. They shared very personal details and anecdotes that some guests had never even heard before.”

“Love Story” was the lead single for Swift’s second album, “Fearless,” which was released in September 2008.

Swift reflected on the song — one of her biggest hits — in an interview with the New York Times magazinepublished in May.

“I think the first time I felt I don’t care if people hate this because I love it so much was when I wrote the song ‘Love Story’ when I was 17, sitting in my bedroom, mad at my parents because they wouldn’t let me go on a date with a guy who was too old so I shouldn’t have been on a date with him anyway,” she said.

She went on to joke, “And this is why you need to discipline your kids because they might write songs that go No. 1.”

Back in 2009, she called the catchy single “the most romantic song” she’d ever written in a Q&A for Time, though she didn’t even date the person it’s about.

Swift and Kelce, both 36, tied the knot Fridaywith a lavish wedding celebration at MSG in New York City. More details are emerging from the star-studded event, including the top-secret invitation that went out to their guests as well as what the two saidduring their 20-minute vows.

“Taylor talked about how Travis was the guy in high school who, even though he was the star athlete, would go sit with the less-popular kids who were being bullied at lunchtime,” an insider told People Monday.

“And Taylor talked about how she wished she knew someone like that when she was in high school. It was so special.”

Guests were given embroidered handkerchiefsthat were a nod to her 2014 hit “Blank Space,” which came in handy for those wiping away tears.

The wedding was officiated by Adam Sandler, and Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid revealed the simple wedding advice he gave the newlyweds.

“He said kiss every chance you get — every chance you have, every single day,” Reid said during an interview with CNN. “So whether you’re going to bed or going to work … go ahead and kiss her.”

Reid also shared in a press conference Sunday of Sandler, “In a simply hysterical way, he was a phenomenal … he’s crazy, but he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humor. But that part there, I thought pretty good advice, in its simplest form.”
