From famous musicians to professional athletes and WAGs, about 1,000 guests attended the wedding extravaganza for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden on July 3. The black-tie ceremony, officiated by Adam Sandler, a friend of the couple, featured appearances by several of Swift’s musical collaborators as a stream of A-list guests arrived at the Garden throughout the day.
Among the guests, the couple’s closest family members took on special roles. Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Travis’s brother and podcast co-host, Jason Kelce, was his best man.
Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed, and his sister-in-law, Kylie, were in attendance. Donna Kelce was photographed at Kennedy International Airport on Thursday morning.
Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott, also attended the festivities.
In Swift’s circle, the actresses Emma Stone and Dakota Johnson, the Haim sisters — Danielle, Este and Alana — and Ashley Avignone, a designer, attended, according to a person familiar with the event. The model Karlie Kloss, who was once frequently seen with Swift, and her husband, Joshua Kushner, were also among the guests and were photographed on their way to the festivities.
Several of Swift’s friends made stage appearances, including Stevie Nicks, who did a sound check on Friday, according to one person with knowledge of the event. A second person, who appeared to be working the event, was overheard describing a performance by Nicks and Paul McCartney.
Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and Lena Dunham, among Swift’s closest friends, attended the celebration at the arena. Gomez was among roughly 100 guests at the couple’s rehearsal dinner on Thursday at the Infosys Theater inside the Garden, wearing jewelry by Fernando Jorge. Dunham was spotted in a vehicle near the arena on Thursday evening, and Hadid and her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, were seen en route to the event on Friday. Swift’s longtime friend Zoë Kravitz, who is engaged to her ex, Harry Styles, was snapped in a black embroidered knee-length dress on Friday. (Styles will be on tour in London on July 3 and 4.)
Benson Boone, the back-flipping musician who opened for Swift on an Eras Tour stop in London, headed past barricades and into the venue in a black suit on Friday. The musical duo the Chainsmokers were also on the guest list, as was the musician Sombr, who is wearing Kyosuke Kunimoto, according to his stylist.
Among those spotted at the wedding were an eclectic mix of high-profile guests, including Seth Meyers, Tate McRae, Cindy Crawford, Gracie Abrams, Beck, Brad Pitt and Tom Brady.
Reese Witherspoon, who seemed to be wearing a lace Monse dress designed by Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, was also spotted at the big event. Jason Sudeikis was spotted in a vehicle near the Garden, dressed in formal wear. He is from Kansas City, Mo., where Kelce plays for the Chiefs and first saw the Eras Tour, a key part of his and Swift’s love story. And the actress Mariska Hargitay rolled down her window and waved to eager fans outside the Garden, hoping to catch a glimpse of a celebrity.
Jack Antonoff, Swift’s longtime producer, was among the guests, as was Ed Sheeran, who Swift said in October would be “hard to keep” from singing at her wedding. Sheeran was photographed on Friday in a particularly bright outfit: a baby blue blazer paired with matching pants and sneakers. And Camila Cabello went with hot pink — she posted a TikTok from her Sprinter van revealing her off-the-shoulder lace Zimmerman dress.
Suki Waterhouse, who performed as an opening act on the Eras tour, told Variety that she planned to attend. She wore a black Carolina Herrera frock to the rehearsal dinner, according to the brand.
Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs, where Kelce plays as a tight end, have booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, according to a person told of the accommodations. Among those expected are some of Kelce’s closest friends on the team, including Andy Reid, the head coach, and Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback. Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, have frequently been seen out with the bride and groom.
Kelce’s friend George Kittle, who plays for the San Francisco 49ers, and his wife, Claire, said last month that they’ll be at the wedding, adding that the bride and groom requested “absolutely no gifts.” (Claire’s makeup artist shared on an Instagram story on Wednesday morning that she was headed on a flight to LaGuardia Airport. She then shared a video of the city skyline with audio from Swift’s song “Welcome to New York.”)
Another close friend from the 49ers, Kyle Juszczyk, and his wife, Kristin, were also nearby in the days leading up to the wedding. The couple attended Michael Rubin’s annual white party in the Hamptons on Wednesday. The event usually takes place during the Fourth of July weekend, but Rubin told People Magazine that he “didn’t want to have people have to choose” between his party and Swift’s wedding celebration.
Juszczyk, along with the television host and sports commentator Charissa Thompson and the former N.F.L. cornerback Richard Sherman were seen exiting a NoMad hotel and entering shuttles headed to the venue on Friday afternoon.
