From famous musician friends to professional athletes, about 1,000 guests are expected to attend the anticipated wedding extravaganza for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden on July 3. Some have spoken about attending the event in interviews, and others have been spotted in the city.
In Swift’s circle, the actresses Emma Stone and Dakota Johnson, the Haim sisters — Danielle, Este and Alana — and Ashley Avignone, a designer, are planning to attend, according to a person familiar with the event. The model Karlie Kloss, who was once frequently seen with Swift, and her husband, Joshua Kushner, are also expected to be there.
Gigi Hadid (who was photographed arriving at Kennedy International Airport on Thursday), Selena Gomez and Lena Dunham are among Swift’s closest friends and are also expected to attend the larger celebration at the arena on Friday. Gomez was among roughly 100 guests at the couple’s rehearsal dinner on Thursday at the Infosys Theater inside the Garden, wearing jewelry by Fernando Jorge, according to a representative for the brand. Dunham was spotted in a vehicle near the arena on Thursday evening. Swift is also a longtime friend of Zoë Kravitz, who is engaged to her ex, Harry Styles. (Styles will be on tour in London on July 3 and 4.)
There is Jack Antonoff, Swift’s longtime producer, who said “I hope” when asked in May if he would be attending any big weddings this summer. He was spotted heading to the rehearsal dinner.
Another likely guest is Ed Sheeran, who Swift said in October would be “hard to keep” from singing at her wedding. The owner of an Italian restaurant in upstate New York shared that Sheeran dined at her restaurant on Tuesday night, though he is scheduled to perform in Denver on July 4.
Suki Waterhouse, who performed as an opening act on the Eras tour, told Variety that she planned to attend. She performed at a record store in New York on Tuesday. Sabrina Carpenter, who also opened several dates on Swift’s recent tour and has remained close with the pop star, is also a possible guest. Carpenter has been spotted in and around New York recently, including at a World Cup match between Ecuador and Germany at MetLife Stadium last week.
Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs, where Kelce plays as a tight end, have booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, according to a person told of the accommodations. Among those expected are some of Kelce’s closest friends on the team, including Andy Reid, the head coach, and Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback. Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, have frequently been seen out with the bride and groom.
Kelce’s friend George Kittle, who plays for the San Francisco 49ers, and his wife, Claire, said last month that they’ll be at the wedding, adding that the bride and groom requested “absolutely no gifts.” (Claire’s makeup artist shared on an Instagram story on Wednesday morning that she was headed on a flight to LaGuardia Airport. She then shared a video of the city skyline with audio from Swift’s song “Welcome to New York.”)
Another close friend from the 49ers, Kyle Juszczyk, and his wife, Kristin, were also nearby in the days leading up to the wedding. The couple attended Michael Rubin’s annual white party in the Hamptons on Wednesday. The event usually takes place during the Fourth of July weekend, but Rubin told People Magazine that he “didn’t want to have people have to choose” between his party and Swift’s wedding celebration.
Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed, his brother and podcast co-host, Jason, and his sister-in-law, Kylie, are likely to be there. Donna Kelce was photographed at Kennedy International Airport on Thursday morning. Tanner Corum, Kelce’s cousin, and his wife, Samantha, are also likely to attend — she shared a photo on Instagram on Wednesday on an American Airlines flight.
Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott, along with her younger brother, Austin Swift, are all likely to attend the festivities.
