Anduril’s Jeff Miller says

“Very few companies in defense have actively recruited talent in a way that goes beyond the traditional,” said Jeff Miller, the company’s chief marketing, in an interview at the 2026 Cannes Lions Festival.

Miller says Anduril’s approach is deliberately “divergent” because they are trying to attract different types of employees. So the company’s “Don’t work for Anduril” campaign has focused on why the it isn’t a fit for everyone.

“We said there aren’t any baristas or nap pods,” he said. “We basically told them all the reasons that they should filter themselves out.” Despite the stark message, Miller says recruitment is up and the process is more efficient.
