The 11 best movies coming to Netflix in July

“The Beguiled” (July 1)

This gothic remake from Sofia Coppola stars Colin Farrell as a wounded Union Army corporal who is brought back to health by teachers and students at an all-girls school in Virginia.

As the corporal’s health improves, some of the women, played by Nicole Kidman and Kirsten Dunst, begin dangerous games of rivalry for his affection.

“Donnie Brasco” (July 1)

In this underrated gangster movie based on a true story, Al Pacino plays a foot soldier for the mob who unwittingly lets an FBI undercover agent (Johnny Depp) into his criminal inner circle.

“Moneyball” (July 1)

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” (July 1)

“White Chicks” (July 1)

Though it was panned by critics when it was released in 2004, this Keenen Ivory Wayans comedy has since become a cult classic.

Shawn and Marlon Wayans play FBI agents who go undercover as white women to protect two heiresses while they vacation in the Hamptons. Hilarious chaos ensues.

Memento (July 5)

Before Christopher Nolan became the king of IMAX blockbusters, he directed this indie starring Guy Pearce as a man searching for his wife’s murderer while suffering from short-term memory loss. In ambitious Nolan fashion, the story is told backward.

“Hamnet” (July 6)

One of the most acclaimed movies of 2025, Chloé Zhao’s powerful drama focuses on the family life of William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) as he and his wife (Jessie Buckley) cope with the death of their child, Hamnet. Buckley would go on to win an Oscar for her performance.

“The Hunger Games” (July 14)

“Wicked: For Good” (July 20)

“72 Hours” (July 24)
