I’ve been an avid Costco shopper since childhood, and fondly remember taking a trip to the warehouse with my mom and grandmother on the weekends.
As a kid, I always looked forward to the free samples and the chance to get a slice of pizza from the café. Now that I’m an adult living in New York City, however, I mostly look forward to buying items in bulk to save money.
The only problem? I live in a tiny apartment.
Despite our limited storage space, my roommate and I love visiting Costco once or twice a month to stock up on all the bulk items we can fit in our apartment.
Although it can be quite the trek to the nearest warehouse — a 15-minute walk, a 20-minute subway ride, and an additional 15-minute walk — the price and quality of the items make the journey worthwhile.
Here are eight staples we buy each time we shop at Costco.
We always find room in our fridge for Sprindrift sparkling water.

Given our small space, my roommate and I buy only one beverage in bulk each time we visit Costco. One of our favorites is Spindrift sparkling water.
This time, we grabbed a 30-count variety pack featuring flavors like lemon limeade, strawberry lemonade, and pink lemonade.
Kirkland Signature organic Greek yogurt is one of my favorite snacks.

I’ve noticed that it’s difficult to find organic Greek yogurt for a good price at my local grocery stores. Luckily, the Kirkland Signature organic Greek yogurt is affordable and tastes incredible.
I like to add it to recipes for additional protein or enjoy it as a quick snack.
Nothing beats a New York City slice, but our favorite at-home option is Milton’s cauliflower-crust veggie pizza.

Despite living in a city famous for its pizza, sometimes, I still like to enjoy a frozen alternative from Costco.
Milton’s roasted-vegetable cauliflower-crust pizza is the perfect quick dinner in our tiny apartment.
It only takes about 12 to 15 minutes to cook in the oven, and we typically serve it with one of Costco’s organic salad kits. We also love to dip each slice in ranch.
Kevin’s Natural Foods cilantro-lime chicken is easy to make and delicious.

Kevin’s Natural Foods cilantro-lime chicken is my secret to quick weeknight meals.
While the chicken cooks on the stovetop, I like to throw some broccoli in the air fryer and heat up some microwavable rice.
Kevin’s Natural Foods also offers several other chicken options, including Hawaiian-style and teriyaki.
Amylu organic chicken burgers make a great protein-packed dinner.

When I go to Costco, I always make sure to pick up the Amylu organic chicken burgers with caramelized onion and aged white cheddar.
The box comes with eight delicious patties, and each serving is packed with 19 grams of protein.
When I need a filling dinner in a flash, I heat up one of these patties and place it inside a toasted bun with a slice of cheese, and sometimes, a little avocado for some extra flavor.
The Good Foods avocado mash always comes home with me.

Instead of wasting half an avocado, I love buying Good Foods organic avocado mash at Costco.
This mash, seasoned with sea salt and black pepper, keeps well in the fridge and is perfect for a single serving of avocado toast.
Each box contains 16 packs of avocado mash, which is an ideal amount for my roommate and me. Plus, it doesn’t overcrowd our small fridge.
I could eat the Amylu chicken breakfast sausage links every single morning.

The Amylu chicken breakfast sausage links are a delicious and insanely versatile breakfast item I always grab at Costco.
Not only do these links taste great, but they also have 12 grams of protein in each serving.
I love to eat them with fruit and eggs, or on the side of some overnight oats in the morning.
Skinny Dipped dark-chocolate peanut butter cups are so tasty.

I have a sweet tooth, and even though I try my best to limit my sugar intake, I always love to check out the low-sugar candy options at Costco.
My go-to is the Skinny Dipped dark chocolate peanut butter cups, which only have 3 grams of sugar per serving, are gluten-free, and taste amazing.
