A truck driver charged with killing a newlywed couple in a horror crash in Oregon is an illegal immigrant who was granted a commercial driver’s license in Gov. Gavin Newsom’s California, according to the feds.
Indian national Rajinder Kumar, 32, was arrested after he jackknifed his semi-truck and collided with a vehicle in Bend back on Nov. 24, killing William Carter and his new wife, Jennifer Lower.
Kumar was in the US illegally, having been released into the country by the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security revealed Monday as they announced an immigration detainer has been lodged.

He was later issued a commercial driver’s license in California and then given work authorization in 2023, the feds said.
Kumar is just the latest illegal migrant to be nabbed over a fatal wreck after being cut loose by the Biden admin, according to immigration officials.
“Rajinder Kumar, a criminal illegal alien from India, was released into our country under the Biden administration and issued a commercial driver’s license by Gavin Newsom’s Department of Motor Vehicles,” DHS assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.
“How many more senseless tragedies must take place before sanctuary politicians stop allowing illegal aliens to dangerously operate semi-trucks on America’s roads?”

“Our prayers are with William and Jennifer’s families. Under Secretary Noem, ICE will continue its efforts to get illegal alien truck drivers off America’s highways,” she added.
It comes after Harjinder Singh, an illegal migrant, was arrested in August over a wreck in Florida that left three people dead.

That same month, Partap Singh — an illegal from India, allegedly caused a multi-car pileup in California that left a 5-year-old with life-altering injuries.
In October, another illegal migrant, Jashanpreet Singh, was arrested over an alleged drunken crash that killed three people in California.
