Amy Schumer detailed her lackluster sex life with her husband, Chris Fischer, in a shocking resurfaced interview years before divorce rumors started swirling.
“We’re married four years now and it is hard to have sex,” she admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April 2022.
After being met with an awkward silence from the audience, Schumer elaborated, “When you’re married. It’s hard to have sex when you’re married, OK. Because, like that’s your family. You know what I mean?”

“Like that’s my emergency contact, I’m not going to just have sex with them,” she quipped. “That’s disgusting.”
“And you can’t really talk dirty anymore if you’re married because he knows me too well. I can’t be like ‘I’m going to…’ He’ll be like, ‘No you’re not,’” she joked. “‘You’re back hurts. You’re not.’”
“But we’ve been doing a lot of role playing because the role playing I always pick the same role. I always go, ‘OK I’m in a coma,’” she said as she enacted laying down unresponsive.

Back in February, Schumer exposed their lack of intimacy again, revealing that they “schedule” sex after welcoming son Gene, 6.
“We do birthdays… we do schedule it, we do schedule it,” she said on “The View” on Feb. 3.
“Nobody ever is like, ‘Oh!’ There’s never like, a vibe where it just happens,” she continued. “Do people do that?”
Divorce speculation surrounding Schumer, 44, and Fischer, 45, began last month after a close friend of the comedian told the Daily Mailthey were heading toward a split.

“Amy is 100 percent getting divorced. She got skinny, she is over it,” the friend told the outlet, referring to the “Trainwreck” star’s recent dramatic weight loss.
The source also claimed that Fischer is “mostly out of the house,” and that the couple has listed their homes in Brooklyn and New Orleans for sale.
The insider also pointed out that Schumer’s choice to scrub her Instagram of old pics was a telling move that hints at a breakup.

“She deleted Chris from Instagram, then deleted everything else. She’s going to file soon, but it’s over. Done.”
The “Kinda Pregnant” actress addressed speculation around why she deleted the majority of her Instagram feed, explaining that she did so because she “want[s] the world to see” how “strong and beautiful” she is after losing weight and improving her overall health.
A second source alleged that the pair — who wed in 2018 — “are no longer close,” and that the chef is “never around, and she has not taken him on a red carpet for months.”

They also claimed that due to Fisher’s autism diagnosis, he “doesn’t even get her jokes,” which is detrimental to their relationship since “being funny and making people laugh is important to her.”
But a source told People on Nov. 14 that the duo are “privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have,” adding, “they are both committed to the relationship.”
However, Schumer fueled rumors of a divorce even further over the weekend when she posted a carousel of snaps where she is noticeably missing her wedding ring.
