Taylor Swift loves giving her legions of fans clues, slyly dropping them into every aspect of her music and life.
And now, she’s turned her highly-anticipated summer weddingto Travis Kelce into the biggest Easter egg hunt of all.
The 36-year-old billionaire will tie the knotwith the football star, also 36, within a matter of weeks. But everything from the wedding date to the location to the starry guest list is still a mystery. Although we are told that relations have been “bumpy” between Swift and longtime pal Zoë Kravitz, the actress is invited — but things are less certain for Blake Lively.
One thing is for sure, Swift and Kelce are enjoying the run up to their big day, with the singer wearing bridal white on recent nights out in NYC.
She donned a $1,190 white peplum shirt by Stella McCartneyto Zero Bond and a $398 Retrofête knit dress as she dined with pals, including stylist Ashley Avignone, at West Village hot spot Via Carota.
TMZ reported that Swift has been calling friends personally to invite them.
Page Six has reached out to reps for Swift and Kelce.
There were even rumors that Swift and Kelce had hired out The Frick museum space in NYC this past week (it turned out to be Louis Vuitton for its cruise collection fashion show).
“They could buy out the entirety of The Frick or some other Gilded Age mansion,” said one Swift and Kelce insider. “Any outdoor or scenic location, like an island or bluff” — or Swift’s Watch Hill, Rhode Island, estate — “will be subject to drones and helicopters, and it will be a zoo. NYC means indoors, and indoors means total privacy.
“But,” the insider added, “I still don’t think they’ll do it in NYC.”
One big question has been whether Blake Lively will be invited. The formerly thick-as-thieves pair stopped talking after the actress embroiled Swift, who is godmother to Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ four children, in her court case against Justin Baldoni.
According to unsealed court documents, Lively told Baldoni — whom she accused of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment, and subsequent retaliation — that Swift was one of her “dragons.” She also asked Swift to praise her script revision to Baldoni, the director and co-star of “It Ends With Us,” as things became heated on set.
Further texts between the stars showed Lively asking if she had done anything to upset Swift, and lengthy discussion about their relationship.
Asked if Lively will be a wedding guest, the insider said she’s not believed to be on the list at present — but added, “I think there’s a far greater chance of it now that the case is settled.
“As evidenced by [her appearance at] the Met Gala, Blake is ready to be back out there … she will be there with bells on if she is invited. But that’s a huge if.”
Meanwhile, another industry source said that Zoë Kravitz is invited to the wedding of the year even though the friends’ relationship has been “bumpy” as of late.
Kravitz recently got engaged to Harry Styles, whom Swift dated back fro a few months in 2012 and 2013. Swift is believed to have penned songs, including “Style,” about the singer on her “1989” album.
“There has been a definite Zoë-Taylor cooling off, but she’s absolutely coming. I don’t know about Harry, though, as he’s on tour,” said the source.
They also noted that the covertness of Swift and Kelce’s big day will be modeled on that of Ed Sheeran, her close pal who is, of course, invited.
Sheeran wed his longtime girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn, in a secret winter wedding in December 2018 with only about 40 people present.
“To this day no one knows exactly who attended Ed Sheerhan’s wedding, and that’s the model for this one,” said the source. “Total secrecy.
“And no one has ever seen Blake Lively’s wedding photos aside from a few curated pictures in Martha Stewart Weddings of the decor and food. That’s the plan here: Keep it totally locked down and then release a handful of photos, just like with their engagement.”
While actor Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, were once very close to Swift — with Sperry buying a huge topaz ringfor Swift’s 34th birthday — the Daily Mail reported they might not be invited.
The foursome sparked rumblings of a rift when Sperry, 33, did not sit with Swift at last year’s Super Bowl. The pals have not been pictured together since February 2024.
However, Teller, 39, did appear on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast last November to promote his movie “Eternity.”
While Swift has a coterie of celebrity friends, from Selena Gomez to Gigi Hadid and the sisters of the band Haim sisters, it’s Kelce’s crowd that will really swell the wedding numbers.
After months of retirement rumors, Kelce announced he’ll return for another season as tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
“NFL weddings are massive,” said the source. “Very often these guys feel honor-bound to invite their entire team, and the WAGS of the team, and the coaching staff, and it just blows up really really quickly.
“So it’s his side of the guest list where things start to get tricky both from a headcount standpoint and a secrecy standpoint. People in Taylor’s circle have known for years how to keep their mouths shut. It’s the Chiefs’ side where it gets wobblier.”
Even though the Daily Mail reported that Swift has kept her future father-in-law, Ed Kelce, in the dark as he “can’t be trusted” to keep the details private, this is not true, we’re told.
But the singer’s future sister-in law Kylie Kelce recently admitted on her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast: “I don’t have any details. I don’t have any details. I have none.”
