Zachery Ty Bryan and his girlfriend, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, were arrested after the actor violated his domestic violence probation.
The “Home Improvement” alum was taken into custody in Eugene, Ore., on Saturday and was denied bail, according to documents obtained by Page Six.
He will remain behind bars until Wednesday. TMZ was first to report the news.

Bryan, 44, was previously placed on 36 months of probation following a domestic violence conviction in 2023 and his probation expires in 2026.
At the time, the “Rage: Carrie 2” actor was arrested on assault and robbery charges following a dispute between him and an unidentified woman, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
While it’s unclear if the woman was Cartwright, his probation forbade him from having contact with the victim without prior approval.

As for Cartwright, she faces five charges, including one for driving under the influence, three for reckless endangerment and another for an attempt to commit assault in the first-degree.
Cartwright’s arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
Bryan, who was previously married to Carly Matros from 2007 to 2020, shares multiple children with Cartwright.

Bryan was previously accused of attacking Cartwright and charged with felony strangulation, menacing, assault and harassment in 2020.
According to a police report, she woke up to Bryan pulling on her hair and hitting her due to missing phone chargers.
Cartwright alleged that Bryan’s abuse started a few weeks before and she accused him of choking her nearly to the point of suffocation.
At the time, he was only convicted of menacing and assault.
Bryan later insisted that the incident was “blown out of proportion” and that he “didn’t even really get that physical.”
“We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear,” Bryan alleged in a June 2023 interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

Bryan was also arrested in February 2024 for a suspected DUI in Riverside, Calif., and then again for the same crime and driving without a license in Custer County, Okla., in October 2024.
On January 1, 2025, Bryan was taken into custody after he “punched a woman multiple times and threatened to kill her.”
It’s unclear if the woman was Cartwright.
An unidentified ex of Bryan was also granted a five-year restraining order against him earlier this month, after she accused him of “punch[ing] her in the head” in July.

On Nov. 13, Bryan had apologized for his most recent domestic violence incident, referring to it as a “painful wake-up call.”
“Fame as a child actor left scars — being thrust into the spotlight at nine years old brought pressures I wasn’t equipped to handle — but that’s no justification for my choices as an adult,” he told TMZ, adding that he “deeply” regretted his actions.
Bryan stated that he’s “struggled with the lasting effects of early fame, addiction, and poor decision-making,” which he blames for his “repeated legal issues.”
