WASHINGTON — White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has given birth to a baby girl, she announced Thursday.
Vivania — or “Vivi,” as she will be called — was born on May 1.

“She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister. We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble,” Leavitt wrote on social media, including a photo of her and the new arrival.
Leavitt and her husband Nicholas Riccio also have a son, Nicholas — “Niko” for short — who was born in July 2024.
The press secretary is on maternity leave and expected to return to the briefing room later this year.
