Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini brutally trolled by ESPN show following photo scandal

Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini were brutally roasted on ESPN following their photo scandal.

During Sunday’s airing of “Inside the NBA,” hosts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson Jr. did their “Gone Fishing” segment, which pokes fun at teams that were eliminated from the NBA playoffs.

The graphic featured Boston Celtics stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown (who were eliminated by the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7 Saturday); sportswriter Bill Simmons; actors John Krasinski, Mark Wahlberg, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck; and Russini — who worked for ESPN from 2015 to 2023 — and Vrabel.

The New England Patriots head coach, 50, and the former Athletic reporter, 43, stood at the front of the boat, with Vrabel holding Russini from behind as she held her arms out to imitate the famous scene from the 1997 classic film “Titanic.”

The shocking photo left the hosts speechless.

“You guys are …,” Barkley, 63, said, seemingly referring to the crew who created the shady image.

“Our buddy Bill Simmons is in there, John Krasinski, Mark Wahlberg,” Johnson, 69, added.

“Who are the two people at the front?” Smith, 61, asked. “I don’t know them.”

“Stop it,” Barkley responded. “Stop it.”

Johnson quipped, “Ben Affleck and Matt Damon on there, Tatum and Brown. That’s all I see on that boat. I don’t see anything else.”

Page Six has reached out to TNT for comment but did not immediately hear back, while ESPN declined to comment.

Last month, Page Six released exclusive photos of Vrabel and Russini holding hands and hugging at a luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona.

The coach and the sportscaster — who are both married to other people — denied anything romantic was going on between them and insisted they were joined by other friends at the resort, despite eyewitnesses disputing their claims.

Despite their denials, Russini was sidelined by the New York Times and later resigned from her position as senior NFL insider at the Athletic.

The former linebacker then announced he would not be with his team for Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft to seek counseling and focus on family and personal matters.

A day later, Page Six published photos of Vrabel and Russini kissing at a dimly-lit New York City bar in 2020 — six years before their Arizona resort outing.

“They were kissing and they were all over each other,” an eyewitness told Page Six. “He had a ring on.”

At the time, Mike was already married to his wife, Jen Vrabel, while Russini was slated to wed her now-husband, Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt, just six months later.

Due to the new photos we released, Russini deleted her social media accounts and Mike and his wife had an emergency 24-hour marriage summit in Park City, Utah.

Mweanwhile, the journalist was offered a job by her pal Jon “Stugotz” Weiner.
