Vivian Kubrick, the daughter of legendary filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, escalated her campaign against Turning Point USA’s new leadership, urging President Donald Trump to dismantle the conservative student organization entirely and cut ties with its current CEO Erika Kirk — the widow of founder Charlie Kirk.
The film composer, who works under the name Abigail Mead, has previously endorsed and donated to Trump, and has claimed in the past that her father would have abandoned Hollywood to support the Republican president had he still been alive.
In a scathing attack reported by the Daily Mail, Kubrick launched an all-out assault on Kirk and TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet, accusing them of fundamentally transforming the organization.
“They have significantly changed the purpose and character of TPUSA to the point of making it unrecognizable,” she wrote on X.
Kubrick didn’t mince words in her characterization of Erika Kirk, calling her a “threat to my country” and claiming she is “a military or intelligence operative” and “definitely some kind of sociopath.”
“There’s something seriously wrong with this woman – every cell in my body shudders listening to her voice and watching her face,” Kubrick added.
The Hollywood insider also condemned a video Kirk shared of herself kissing the hand of her late husband, describing it as “wildly inappropriate” and “horribly sinister.”
In an extraordinary demand, Kubrick directly appealed to Trump to shut down the organization entirely, writing: “MR PRESIDENT – If we’re to win the midterms, you need to ‘kill’ Turning Point USA and let some honest to God, authentic, super smart young patriots rally the American youth to fight for AMERICA FIRST.
She concluded by insisting that “Charlie was TPUSA, no one can replace him.”
Kubrick’s public denunciation adds to a growing chorus of far-right conservatives who have objected to Kirk’s leadership of the organization founded by her late husband. The backlash has already prompted some college chapters to break away and establish independent groups.
