President Donald Trump responded angrily on Truth Social after Fox News aired multiple segments featuring Democratic California gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer.
The 79-year-old president criticized the network for covering Steyer instead of Republican candidates on Wednesday morning, calling Steyer a “SLEAZEBAG” and “LOSER.” Trump questioned how Republicans could win California with mail-in voting and what he characterized as rigged elections while Fox News promoted Democratic candidates.
He urged voters to support Republican Steve Hilton instead.
Steyer, who previously ran for president in 2020, recently unveiled an immigration plan that includes abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement and reversing Trump-era immigration enforcement policies.
