Taylor Swift dragged back into Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal battle as trial nears start date

Taylor Swift has been dragged into Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal feud once again.

The pop star’s name appeared on a list of questions — which Lively and Baldoni’s legal teams worked “collaboratively” to produce on Friday — to be used to select jury members for their “It Ends With Us” trial in May.

One of the many questions asks: “Do you know any of the following people that you may hear from or about over the course of the trial?” according to court documents viewed by Page Six.

Swift’s name popped up after a long catalog of other high-profile names who could potentially testify or be mentioned at trial.

The lawyers also added notes to ask if any potential jurors have knowledge of celebs like Baldoni, or Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, her sister Robyn Lively, or several members of her “It Ends With Us” cast including Hasan Minhaj, Jenny Slate, and author Colleen Hoover.

In a separate update in the case, Baldoni’s team submitted another filing on Friday petitioning the court for an extension to review the “voluminous overbreadth of Lively’s witness and exhibit lists” that her legal team filed in a joint pretrial order this week.

“Lively’s lists are currently impractical for both pretrial and trial purposes, obscure the witnesses and exhibits the Wayfarer Parties will actually have to confront, and create reams of unnecessary work at a time when the parties should be focusing their efforts for trial,” the filing reads.

Baldoni’s attorneys claim the “Gossip Girl” star, 38, has submitted an abundance of evidence items that have “limited relevance or practical value” and “suggests little discrimination in terms of what might actually be admissible at trial.”

For example, the team alleged that Lively included a link to an article about a Taylor Swift cookie recipe as well as “a speech Lively made about her husband Ryan Reynolds’ commitment to his family” and various pictures of Lively with Taylor Swift.

“It is exceptionally unlikely Lively would show such materials, or that the jury would gain any insight from them,” reads the doc.

The lawyers are requesting an extra week to review the 68 exhibits Lively and her legal team have submitted to the court.

Reps for Lively, Baldoni, and Swift did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

TMZ was the first to report this news.

As we previously reported, Baldoni scored a major legal win in the case earlier this month after 13 of Lively’s allegations against the Wayfarer Studios co-founder were dismissed.

The two stars expected to face off in court over the three remaining claims against Baldoni — breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation — next month after both sides rejected settlement talks.

“We’re very pleased the Court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every claim brought against the individual defendants,” Baldoni’s team said of the ruling in a statement to Page Six at the time.

“These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and voluminous evidence that was provided.”

Lively also addressed the court’s decision with a statement shared via Instagram, saying: “The last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit, but I brought this case because of the pervasive RETALIATION I faced, and continued to, for privately and professionally asking for a safe working environment for myself and others.”
