Taylor Frankie Paul and rumored ‘Bachelorette’ winner Doug Mason turn heads with social media exchange

Taylor Frankie Paul and her rumored “Bachelorette” winner, Doug Mason, turned heads with their flirty social media exchange despite the show’s cancellation.

On Saturday, Mason took to Instagram to share a reel of himself singing along to his new song. In the clip, the reality star also showed a duck walking in a parking lot.

Paul wrote in Mason’s comments section, “Awe I see what you did here 🦆.”

In response, he commented, “🧏🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️.”

Page Six has reached out to both Mason and Paul, but did not immediately hear back.

Paul, 31, was announced as the lead for Season 22 of the “Bachelorette” in September 2025.

Though the ABC reality show was set to premiere on March 22, it was cancelled after a video of the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star throwing chairs at her ex Dakota Mortensen during a 2023 domestic violence incident was leaked.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” the network told Page Six in a statement.

After ABC pulled the plug on Paul’s season, she exclusively told Page Six that she was “very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security.

“After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,” she told us.

Paul also said that she has “remained silent” about the alleged abuse she faced “out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming.”

Mortensen recently filed for an order of protection against Paul, causing her to lose temporary custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever, following another alleged February 2026 incident.

The reality star is not allowed to see the toddler until the next hearing, which is scheduled for April 7.
