Kendra Wilkinson admitted the honest reason she’s taking GLP-1 shots — and it’s financial.
The former “Girls Next Door” star, 40, said that her jeans have gotten “a little tighter” and she doesn’t want to buy new clothes.
She also shared that although she works out every day, she’s stopped seeing results.
“I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore,” she told Us Weekly in an interview Saturday at the Aaron Rodgers and RX3 Growth Partners’ charity flag football event.
“Mama is on a budget, so I have to fit back in my jeans,” she continued.
Wilkinson said she’s taking her first shot this week, and insisted that major weight loss was not her goal.
“I just want to slightly, like, ease my way into it,” she noted. “I just want to be balanced out. I don’t really want to be skinny, but I just want to be balanced and fit in my jeans again.”
“I’m a little overweight at the moment,” she also shared.
The mother of two seems to have changed her tune on taking a weight-loss medication, as in April 2025, she shared that she took one shot, but quit after one dose.
“Only did one. Nevermind [sic]. Throwing away!!” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time.
The former Playboy model then explained that the potential negative side effects for her at the time drastically outweighed the benefits.
“A lot of you ask why i threw away the shots. I’m actually ok with a little weight gain,” she wrote. “Happier in life now a days [sic].”
She added that she “heard too many horror stories” about people suffering medical complicationsas a result of the medications.
“People end up in ER. Surgeries. No thanks,” she wrote.
The use of GLP-1 injections — primarily used for type 2 diabetes and weight management — among celebrities has been a hot topic of conversation in recent years. Podcaster Brianna Chickenfry recently claimed, “every single bitch I know is on Ozempic.”
“No tea, no shade, no hate, just some field research,” she said in a TikTok video earlier this month. “Every single bitch I know is on Ozempic. People that do not need Ozempic. It’s like if I did Ozempic. Could I lose a couple? Surely. Do I need Ozempic? No!”
LaPaglia warned: “You’re gonna die. You’re all gonna die.”
