Two dead, four wounded in spate of NYC bar shootings

Two people were killed and four others wounded in a string of separate city bar shootings within 24 hours over the weekend.

The most recent fatal incident happened Sunday morning in Brooklyn.

Cops responded to a 911 call for a man shot at 824 Alabama Ave. in Canarsie, around 4:12 a.m., police said.

When police arrived, they found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his torso, cops said.

EMS rushed the man to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

It’s unclear what sparked the incident, as witnesses have been uncooperative with the police, sources said.

Several hours earlier, around 9:40 p.m. Saturday, a crazed customer who was kicked out of El Cerrito del Carmen Restaurant at 2024 McDonald Ave. in Gravesend, Brooklyn, came back and shot two people, including the female bartender who booted him, cops and law-enforcement sources said.

The two victims are hospitalized in stable condition, while the suspect is in the wind, cops said.

Another unrelated fatal shooting also took place Saturday morning in a bar in The Bronx.

Cops responded to a 911 call for an assault taking place inside G&S Restaurant and Lounge at 4386 White Plains Road in Wakefield around 4:50 a.m., police said.

When police arrived, they found a 38-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest, left arm and left leg, cops said.

The man was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital by EMS and is in stable condition, according to authorities.

But cops later pieced together that a man who also arrived at nearby Montefiore Einstein Hospital by private means was involved in the incident, too, police said.

That man was moved to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition by EMS and was later pronounced dead, according to authorities.

The shooting stemmed from a physical dispute, sources said.
