A mom terrified of being pushed down a giant Colombia theme park slide has died after falling 15 feet off the ride, according to reports.
Yuris Cristel Camila García Manrique, a mom to a four year old girl, asked if someone would be at the bottom of the ride to meet her — just moments before Thursday’s tragedy, according to the Colombian news outlet El Tiempo.
“Is someone going to meet me?” 28-year-old Manrique, who was sitting in a rubber ring, asked the Entre Flores park ride operator just moments before she was pushed.
The operator replies “Yes, don’t be afraid” before she’s sent hurtling down the slide.

Footage shared on Xshows her zooming down the Chinácota attraction before she’s flung off the ride and disappears out of shot.
“Did she fall off?” someone asks in the clip.
Manrique fell around 15 feet, according to the Sun,and was left with severe brain, abdomen and chest injuries.

She died en-route to hospital and an investigation into the accident has since been launched.
The local mayor’s office has also vowed to investigate.
