L.A. Broker and Reality TV Star Accuses Oren Alexander of Sexual Assault

A top real estate agent and reality television star has sued Oren Alexander, accusing him of sexual assault and sex trafficking, just days before a verdict is expected in his Manhattan criminal trial on similar charges.

Tracy Tutor, a Beverly Hills broker who appeared on six seasons of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” sued Mr. Alexander in New York federal court on Thursday, accusing him of luring her from Los Angeles to New York City in 2014 before drugging and assaulting her.

Mr. Alexander, 38, and his older brother, Tal Alexander, 39, were among America’s top-earning real estate agents before women accused them of sexual assault in 2024. A third brother, Alon Alexander, who is Oren Alexander’s twin and did not work in real estate, was also accused.

All three brothers were arrested by federal agents in December 2024 and are now on trial in Manhattan, where they are accused of running a decades-long sex-trafficking conspiracy, using their wealth and power to entice women before raping them.

Jason Goldman, a civil lawyer for Oren Alexander, called the lawsuit “salacious. “This appears to be nothing more than a transparent attempt to create headlines and taint the proceedings” of the criminal trial, he said. He noted that Ms. Tutor filed her suit on “the eve of jury deliberations in the federal trial despite the fact that the allegations are more than a decade old and have already been aired publicly.”

A verdict in the criminal case could come as early as Friday. The men also face more than two dozen civil lawsuits, filed by women who have accused all or some of them of sexual assault.

The men have pleaded not guilty and have denied all accusations.

Ms. Tutor, who now works for the real estate firm Compass, was a luxury broker with Douglas Elliman, one of the nation’s largest real estate companies, for 11 years. During the recruitment process for that role, she said in her lawsuit, she was invited to fly from Los Angeles to New York for a dinner to meet some of the top stars at the company, including Oren Alexander.

Mr. Alexander was at the gathering, the lawsuit says, among a group of roughly eight to 10 people. Ms. Tutor was handed a cocktail, the lawsuit says, and “shortly after consuming the drink, she blacked out.”

A male friend of hers grew concerned when he did not see her at the dinner table, according to the lawsuit. He then found her with Mr. Alexander in a bathroom stall, where the friend said she was acting “out of her mind.” Mr. Alexander was kissing her with his shirt unbuttoned and “touching her in intimate areas for his own sexual gratification,” the lawsuit says.

Representatives for Mr. Alexander were not immediately available for comment. Representatives for Douglas Elliman also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Ms. Tutor shared her story with The New York Times in July 2024. It was the first time she had spoken publicly about the episode.

Since that summer, more than 60 women have come forward to accuse Oren, Tal and Alon Alexander of assault, federal prosecutors say, and many of those women also say they were drugged before being attacked. Ms. Tutor refers to some of those women and their accusations in her lawsuit.

In court filings, federal prosecutors have said that the brothers violently raped and sexually assaulted dozens of victims over more than 20 years. In some cases, the indictment says, they drugged victims before the attacks.

Ms. Tutor’s suit echoes some of that language. “Oren had a practice of drugging and sexually assaulting women, as several women have now alleged,” it reads, adding: “Oren also used his position and stature as a star agent at Douglas Elliman to lure women.”
