Good evening from the SAG Awards — sorry, the Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA (that’s going to take some getting used to). If you’re just tuning in, you can watch the awards show that focuses only on the actors via livestream on Netflix starting at 8 p.m. Eastern, with the real show, the red carpet, beginning there at 7. The ceremony will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, with Kristen Bell, the star of “Nobody Wants This,” hosting; this will be her third time doing the honors (see: 2018 and 2025).
This year, the name of the awards show now its 32nd year got a makeover. Now let’s see if any of the nominees and presenters on tonight’s red carpet did, too.
