Sofia Franklyn savagely cuts Alex Cooper out from cover of upcoming tell-all memoir

Sofia Franklyn savagely removed Alex Cooper from the cover of her upcoming tell-all memoir.

The cover of the novel, titled “Daddy Issues,” features a throwback photo of the former besties, who previously co-hosted the “Call Her Daddy” podcast together, from December 2018.

However, Cooper’s face has been cut out with scissors — with only her blond locks and outfit peeking out.

In a new interview promoting the tome, Franklyn explained that she had a few different ideas for the cover before landing on the one.

“For the cover, we played with the idea of using a picture of me from childhood to emphasize the way my story is deeper than what the internet knows, but that didn’t feel right,” the influencer told Rolling Stone.

“I needed the cover to tell a story beyond the title ‘Daddy Issues.’ It’s jarring, and it’s meant to be. Think of a book like ‘The Social Network,’ but it’s all hot girls.”

Franklyn also confirmed that the tell-all — which hits bookshelves on Nov. 10 — will delve into the public fallout between her and Cooper, including why she really stopped co-hosting “Call Her Daddy.”

“Six years ago, I was reeling from an experience I didn’t understand,” she said, referencing when she left her podcast duties in 2020. “I needed to grow up and and be free of ego as much as possible.”

Franklyn, 33, and Cooper, 31, skyrocketed to fame in 2018 with their “Call Her Daddy” podcast, owned by Barstool Sports, that was centered around candid conversations about sex and relationships.

Tension between the duo — who were also roommates in New York City at the time — started ramping up as they began renegotiating their Barstool contract in 2020.

Barstool owner Dave Portnoy publicly bashed both women for being “unprofessional, disloyal and greedy” during contract negotiations.

In May of that year, things really came to a head when Cooper accepted Portnoy’s final offer, which included ownership of the podcast, but Franklyn declined. Franklyn announced her exit while Cooper continued to host “CHD” solo.

Since then, Franklyn started her own podcast, “Sofia with an F,” and the two internet personalities have continued to take jabs at each other online.

In 2022, for example, Franklyn said there was a “zero percent” chance she would ever reunite with Cooper during her appearance on “The Morning Toast.”

“I mean, if she wants to Venmo me $30 million,” she scoffed at the time, referencing Cooper’s $60 million deal with Spotify in 2021.

The following year, during an appearance on Barstool Radio, Cooper claimed that her and Franklyn’s dynamic was actually “so bad behind the scenes” — despite their so-called friendship being at the forefront of their formerly shared podcast.

The Unwell founder also alleged that their partnership “was going to end” regardless of their blowout contract disagreement.

Most recently, Cooper described her side of the story in her Hulu documentary, “Call Her Alex,” released last June, in which she claimed the two always had a strained relationship and were very different when it came to running a business.
