Joe Biden and his wife Jill ventured out in Santa Monica, Calif., amid his battle with cancer, Page Six is told.
Spies spotted the former first couple at celeb favorite Giorgio Baldi with Scott Miller, the former Ambassador to Switzerland, and his husband, LGBTQ+ activist Tim Gill.
Fellow diners told us that Joe — who was diagnosed in May 2025 with an aggressive form of stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones — was quiet for much of the dinner, but piped up to sing “Happy Birthday” to guests celebrating at a neighboring table.

“Jill did most of the speaking during the dinner,” we’re told, “Joe spoke a bit more during dessert.”
The former POTUS last appeared in public in early March when he delivered a eulogy for civil rights activist Jesse Jacksonat the House of Hope on the South Side of Chicago.
Meanwhile, sources told us Joe and Jill are on the West Coast to meet with supporters and donors “as they ramp up their work on their foundation and his future Biden Presidential Library.”

The Biden family were in Santa Ynez on the Central Coast of California for Easter, we’re told.
Biden nominated Miller as the Ambassador to Switzerland and Lichtenstein in August of his term as President. He served in the role from December of that year until Callista L. Gingrich succeeded him in October of 2025.
We’re told the street outside the beach-side restaurant was packed with cops, but inside the Secret Service were extremely discreet.

Last month Jill gave an update about the pol’s health while announcing her forthcoming memoir.
“The fact that it is in his bones means that he will have cancer, you know, all his lifetime,” she told the Associated Press. “Like most retired couples, he’ll probably drive me crazy till the end of it.”
But she said doctors have told the 83-year-old he’ll “live out his natural life.”
He completed a round of radiation treatment in October.
