Fox News forced to clarify bizarre Noem family scandal ‘not a joke for April Fool’s’

A Fox News host was forced to clarify Wednesday for viewers that a bizarre national security scandal embroiling Kristi Noem’s family was not an April Fools’ Day joke.

The ousted former Homeland Security secretary was reportedly “devastated” to learn that her husband, Bryon Noem, had a fetish for cross-dressing, specifically a “bimbofication” fetish scene.

“Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” her representative told the Post this week.

The Daily Mail obtained “hundreds” of messages between Byron Noem and three women in the fetish scene, and photos of him dressed as a woman with fake breasts.

Byron Noem only denied sharing “indiscreet comments about his wife” that could have endangered national security by exposing her to blackmail threats.

The scandal made it to Fox News, where host Will Cain was forced to clarify reporting from correspondent Kevin Corke.

“A sad story indeed, Will,” Corke told Cain. “Back to you.”

“A literally unbelievable story, Kevin, and might be worth noting that even though this is April 1st, this is not a joke for April Fool’s,” he said. “What a story.”

“Not a joke,” replied Corke. “Yeah.”

Corke: Noem is devastated, and the family is blindsided. They are asking for privacy. Cain: It might be worth noting—even though this is April 1st—this is not an April Fools’ joke. pic.twitter.com/63qCn0q4iO — Acyn (@Acyn) April 1, 2026
