Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée Bettina Anderson is having her bridal shower in mid April at Mar-a-Lago, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
And we hear the White House wedding could be as soon as this Spring.
We hear Anderson, who became engaged to the President’s son in December, will be fêted at a flower-filled “Enchanted Garden”-themed luncheon that one source described as “elegant” and “ladylike.”
The luncheon for Anderson — whose parents are philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson — will be hosted by Palm Beach socialites Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan, and Audrey Gruss.
Hernandez is the Founder of the Couture Council at the Fashion Institute of Technology and a trustee of the school’s board. She also previously served as President of the Board of Trustees of El Museo del Barrio.
Phelan, who is married to Secretary of the Navy John Phelan, is heavily involved in the art world as a collector and is on MoMA’s Contemporary Art Council She also serves on the Acquisitions Committees for Tate American and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Gruss is a prominent philanthropist and President of The Audrey and Martin Gruss Foundation. The former beauty executive also founded the Hope for Depression Research Foundation.
We hear the celebratory event will be an intimate affair held in a small ballroom inside the main mansion, which was designed by former owner, cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post.
One source tells us less than 100 people will receive an invitation, while another source says around 60 are on the guest list.
And this being Palm Beach, there is of course some sniping over who will make the cut.
“Lots of noses are out of joint who haven’t gotten their invitation,” sniffed one source. “Everyone is scrambling to score an invite.”
Page Six broke the news of the engagement on December 15. Donald Trump also announced the news during a party at the White House that evening.
The couple were engaged at Camp David, we exclusively reported. Sources told us that the couple had jetted to the presidential retreat to celebrate Anderson’s 39th birthday.
“We’re all so excited for Don and Bettina as they start this new chapter together,” Ivanka Trump told us.
“I’m incredibly happy for both of them,” Eric Trump told us. “Don and I have always been inseparable and I have a wonderful relationship and friendship with Bettina. They are fantastic together.”
This is Anderson’s first marriage. She was previously engaged to chewing gum heir Beau Wrigley.
Don Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump, who is currently dating Tiger Woods. They married at Mar-a-Lago in 2005 and share five children. They divorced in 2018.
He was also previously engaged to former news personality Kimberly Guilfoyle. They got engaged in 2020, but split in December 2024, around the time he was first publicly spotted with Anderson.
Guilfoyle was named US Ambassador to Greece hours later.
