Ray J and his mom are accusing Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner of lying under oath about the rapper and the reality star’s infamous 2007 sex tape.
Kardashian and Jenner called Ray J’s claim that they orchestrated the sex tape “a lie” and “absolutely false” in declarations filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday.
Jenner stated in her declaration, obtained by Page Six: “As a mother, the notion that I orchestrated or produced sex tapes involving my daughter, or was in any way involved in the creation or distribution of any sex tapes, is not only entirely untrue but deeply offensive and harmful and has haunted me for decades.”
“I was absolutely heartbroken, crushed and devastated as a mother to see my daughter in this situation where her most intimate and private moments were exposed to the world,” she continued.
In Kardashian’s declaration, she said she spent money to combat Ray J’s alleged lies, including going to therapy and working with communications, legal and strategic advisers.
“His claim that I had a plan with my mother and others to release a sex tape, defraud the public, and file a ‘fake’ lawsuit against the porn company that released it to ‘create buzz’ is a lie,” she stated.
But Ray J fired back at the mother-daughter duo’s declarations, claiming they “completely lied about everything.”
The singer told TMZ, “Are [Kim & Kris] out of their f–king minds? The fact of the matter is, if you lie like that under oath, don’t you go to jail? Don’t you get fined?”
He also told the outlet that his two children with his estranged wife Princess Love — daughter Melody and son Epik — “don’t deserve to grow up thinking their dad did something like revenge porn or hurt someone on purpose.”
“That’s not the truth, and I’m not going to let that narrative follow them through their lives,” he said.
Ray J’s mom, Sonja Norwood, took to Facebook to defend her son Wednesday.
“I am no longer going to sit back and watch my son be ‘dogged’ on social media over this matter when Ray J and I, Kris and Kim, and many others know the truth,” she wrote in a post.
She then directly called out Jenner.
“And Kris, momager, you say you did not orchestrate the commercial release of the tape. Then who did?” Norwood asked.
“I support Ray J and his journey to bring the truth forward,” she continued. “I have witnessed this journey for many years, and however long it takes, whether it becomes a long journey or a difficult battle, we will stay on that path until the voices that have distorted the truth are publicly revealed.”
“And if that truth journey must continue all the way to the doorstep of God’s judgment, then so be it.”
Reps for Kardashian, Jenner and Ray J didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Ray J, 45, sued Kardashian and Jenner in November 2025, claiming they were the ones to release the tape — an allegation he first made headlines for in 2022.
His lawsuit came after Kardashian, 45, and Jenner, 70, sued Ray J over his racketeering claims in October 2025.
In Jenner’s declaration last month, she blasted Ray J for “publicly terroriz[ing]” her daughter“over the past two decades … by continually talking and lying about her in the press to try to keep himself relevant.”
“My family is of the utmost importance to me,” Jenner wrote in her filing. “It is deeply painful to watch my daughter experience the stress brought upon her by [Ray J], and her feelings of hopelessness and [that] his harassment will never end.”
