One of Hollywood’s biggest and most prestigious nights is here.
The SAG Actor Awards 2026 kicked off at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Formerly known as the SAG Awards, the night’s ceremony saw Kristen Bell return to host for the second year in a row and third time overall.

Harrison Ford received this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of his “singular presence in American life” and seven-decade career in the industry.
As for the movies and TV shows being nominated, “One Battle After Another” went into the night as a leading contender with seven nominations, followed closely behind by “Sinners” with five.
Other contenders fighting for the titular Actor trophy included Timothée Chalamet for “Marty Supreme,” Jessie Buckley for “Hamnet,” Sean Penn for “One Battle After Another” and Amy Madigan for “Weapons.”
Leading TV nominees included Apple TV+’s “The Studio” with five nods, Netflix’s limited series “Adolescence” with four and HBO’s “The White Lotus” also with four.

Those who weren’t lucky enough to score an invite to watch the ceremony in person could watch the awards show stream live on Netflix beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
