Without being nominated, or even attending, Zendaya and Tom Holland still managed to be the subjects of one of the biggest stories coming out of the Actor Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA. Did they get married?
Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, appears to have casually revealed that they did.
After an “Access Hollywood” reporter asked him about Zendaya’s upcoming wedding look, the stylist, who has been dressing her since she was 14, cheekily replied: “The wedding’s already happened. You missed it.”
“It’s very true,” he added.
He also told “Entertainment Tonight,” when asked by another reporter about Zendaya’s bridal look, “Y’all, the wedding already happened. Y’all missed it. The wedding’s over. Sorry.” He then proceeded to talk about all the movies the actress has coming out this year and the fashion choices and method dressing he has planned for those.
Zendaya does have a busy year coming up. “Dune: Part Three”; “The Drama,” a romance co-starring Robert Pattinson in which she plays an engaged women; the third and final season of “Euphoria”; Christopher Nolan’s upcoming “The Odyssey”; and a new “Spider Man” film are all set to release this year — the latter two with her beau.
When asked about Zendaya’s wedding dress in an interview with Complex last year, Mr. Roach said, “It will probably be a wedding dress that nobody will ever see, to be quite honest. Because she and Tom are super private. There won’t be a Vogue spread, or there won’t be pictures of the wedding. And the people she will invite will be very respectful of their privacy.”
It seems like he was right. The two are famously private, with a similarly quiet engagement rollout last year. Speculation that the two stars were engaged began at the Golden Globe Awards in January 2025 when Zendaya, 29, was spotted wearing a rock on her left ring finger.
That September, Mr. Holland, 29, broke his silence on the engagement when he corrected a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his girlfriend. In a clip that circulated online, Holland laughed while clarifying: “Fiancée.”
Rumors that their wedding had already taken placed started circulating last month when the actress was spotted with a simple gold band on her left hand, where her blingy Jessica McCormack engagement ring had previously been. Representatives for Zendaya and Mr. Holland did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The couple met on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2016 when he played the superhero and she co-starred as his love interest. They denied dating rumors for years, until paparazzi photos published by Page Six in July 2021 showed the two kissing in a car. The couple rarely share details about their relationship save for a few comments and social media posts.
Secrets weddings are not uncommon for Hollywood A-listers. Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence and Amanda Seyfried all had top secret weddings. Still, little is known about those weddings.
As influencers increasingly broadcast their weddings and love lives for public consumption — some have even live streamed their ceremonies — many celebrities keep their romantic lives very much to themselves. Doing so certainly builds mystique.
