Three American service members have been killed and five were “seriously wounded” in Operation Epic Fury — the operations against Iran, the US military said.
Several others who suffered minor shrapnel injuries and concussions have been treated and are preparing to return to duty.

“Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing,” CENTCOM said in an update Sunday morning.
Central Command said it is withholding the identifies the “fallen warriors” until 24 hours after their families have been notified.
It’s not clear where the service members were killed.
Iran has attacked US bases across the Middle East in response to the strikes that wiped out much of the Iranian leadership — including the supreme leader.
