Want to Wed Like a Duke or Duchess? Try These Bridgerton-Worthy Venues.

Fans of the popular Netflix series “Bridgerton,” which is based on the Regency romance novels by Julia Quinn, have been drawn to the period décor and picturesque filming locations as much as the drama and characters. So it’s no surprise that the show has also had a big influence on weddings.

Searches for “Bridgerton wedding aesthetic” on Pinterest were up 257 percent this year over last February, according to the social media platform. And the show’s filming locations around England are seeing a rise in visitors as well.

“The event manager at Syon Park, a popular wedding venue west of London where we filmed Lady Danbury’s ball in Season 2, tells us that many of their brides mention the show and ask for the flower arrangements to be like Bridgerton,” said Tony Hood, the supervising location manager for “Bridgerton.” He said he has seen viewers of the show regularly visiting places like the Old Royal Naval College in London, the site of Penelope and Colin’s wedding in Season 3 and the city of Bath, where several scenes have been filmed.

When choosing a Bridgerton-inspired wedding space, couples should look for Regency-era architecture, which typically features white or pastel interiors, along with grand elements like high ceilings, formal gardens and long driveways.

“The large scale of the space gives the air of rubbing shoulders with British aristocracy,” Mr. Hood said.

Prices vary, though high-end hotels and historic manors in London often charge rates similar to comparable venues in the United States, with wedding events typically starting at around $300 per guest.

For a Proper Bridgerton London Wedding

The Lanesborough in London was chosen by Netflix to host the Bridgerton Fan Wedding in 2024 for Tiffany Rae and Shanti Hinton. The hotel served as the reception site after their ceremony at Chiswick House & Gardens.

“The venues for Tiffany and Shanti’s wedding allowed the day to evolve from heritage elegance to refined London glamour,” said Alice Wilkes, a London-based wedding planner who collaborated with the streaming service to plan the event. “Both locations felt inherently cinematic and perfectly suited to a Bridgerton-inspired celebration.”

Built in 1719, the Lanesborough was originally a three-story brick mansion and converted into a luxury hotel in 1991. The venue offers custom weddings in its Regency-style event rooms and is licensed to hold civil ceremonies.

The grand opening of the Langham, London, in 1865, which was attended by King Edward VII when he was the Prince of Wales, has often been called “Europe’s first grand hotel.” Its castle-like facade sets the tone for a royal-like wedding with champagne and canapés in their private courtyard garden and dinner in the grand ballroom. Located in the city’s West End on Regent Street, it is situated near the fashionable Mayfair district where the fictional Bridgertons live. Prices start at around $338 per person, subject to a minimum number of guests.

Manors Owned by Nobility

“For the real deal, Cliveden House in Berkshire is pure aristocratic fantasy with its opulent interiors, stunning grounds and the kind of storied history Lady Whistledown could write about for weeks,” said Amos Gott, the owner of Amos Events in Nashville.

Cliveden House, about an hour’s drive from London, was built in 1666 by George Villiers, 2nd Duke of Buckingham, and over the years, several members of royalty and nobility have lived or stayed there.

The palatial-like mansion, along with its cottage and spa, sits on 376 acres of formal gardens and woodlands overlooking the Thames River. Weddings can be customized, but packages and buyouts are also available. Guests can enjoy Bridgerton-like activities, such as wandering through the garden maze or taking a turn at clay shooting in between wedding festivities. Prices start at around $445 per person.

The Langley, in the picturesque county of Buckinghamshire, also an hour from London, is another option. Once a home of Charles Spencer, the third Duke of Marlborough, it was built in the mid-18th century and is now a five-star luxury hotel on 150 acres of gardens and parkland. Wedding spaces include an intimate lake-view room and the glass-framed Winter Garden, a former Victorian orangery. In addition to customized celebrations and buyouts, the venue offers wedding packages, starting at around $27,000 for up to 100 guests, that include a wedding day breakfast and evening buffet.

Bridgerton Filming Locales

Positioned at the start of the famously recognizable curved facade of the Royal Crescent, which is made up of 30 homes, in Bath, No. 1 Royal Crescent serves as the exterior and entrance hall of the Featherington family residence.

Built between 1767 and 1775 and first rented by Henry Sandford, a former member of Parliament from Ireland, it is now a museum and available for intimate weddings amid 18th-century art and furnishings. The site fee is about $1,400 for up to 35 guests, not including catering.

Several doors down at No. 16, the Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, whose exterior also appears in the series, sits within the Royal Crescent. The interiors can easily be mistaken for the Bridgerton family home with its pastel-hued rooms, floral-patterned wallpaper and richly upholstered furniture. The hotel offers a variety of wedding packages, starting at around $740, from micro weddings to private elopements and buyouts. Couples can opt for Regency-inspired add-ons like traditional afternoon tea and canapés, and the hotel works with local vendors to create a bespoke Bridgerton theme.

Bridgerton Vibes, Stateside

The Estate at River Run, a Georgian Revival-style brick mansion set amid lush grounds, feels more like the English countryside than the rolling hills in Maidens, Va. Situated on 62 acres along the James River, the property was designed to emulate historic English manor homes.

The venue is full of Regency-style rooms, including a two-story ballroom in a soft pastel color palette, and furnished with antique chairs from the 18th-century English country house Castle Howard, which was depicted in Season 1 of Bridgerton as Clyvedon Castle, the Duke of Hastings’ opulent estate. Throughout the property are neoclassical details like curved staircases, hand-painted damask wallpaper and decorative plaster ceilings inspired by antique Wedgwood china.

The décor details in the Biltmore Ballrooms, in Atlanta, are quintessential Bridgerton, too. Upon arrival at the venue, guests will feel transported to the Regency era with the welcoming stately columns at the entrance. The two ballrooms are done up with crystal chandeliers, intricate ceiling plasterwork and Palladian windows. Room rentals start at around $4,000, though that doesn’t include other extras like catering.
