New surveillance video shows an out-of-control driver smashing into a downtown Los Angeles flower stand in a terrifying crash that injured six people.
The video shows an SUV jumping the sidewalk and hitting the vendor on the 530 block of East 8th Street late Tuesday morning, sending bystanders and flowers flying.

The collision left five people hospitalized, while one person was treated and released at the scene.
The SUV driver’s wife told Fox 11that another vehicle cut her husband off, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
“Car had cut him off and when he was trying to get out the way from the car on impact running the light, he lost control of the vehicle and that’s how he slammed into that tree,” Alison Brown said.
Alex Ortiz, a store employee at nearby Lupita’s Flowers, said he saw a 13-year-old boy thrown by the car.
“He was thrown to the ground. His foot was broken, and I think his back was bleeding, because he scraped it on the floor or something,” he told ABC 7.

The vehicle hit a tree after colliding with the flower stand.
