Melania Trump kept things sleek and simple as she attended her husband, President Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address in Washington, DC, on Tuesday evening.
The first lady opted for a dark gray pantsuit layered over a white button-down blouse, finishing the look with some pointed-toe heels.
Her outfit is from Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, while her shoes are from Manolo Blahnik, an aide told The Wall Street Journal.

Her tailored ensemble echoed her official portrait for Trump’s second term, in which she wore a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. The black-and-white image was photographed by Régine Mahaux.
It’s not the first time she’s turned to the brand this year. Last month, she stepped out in a belted Dolce & Gabbana jacket and a midi-length skirt while promoting “Melania.”
The documentary, which follows the first lady over the 20 days leading up to her husband’s 2025 inauguration, grossed $7 million in its opening weekend.
