Despite being disbarred, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has offered to represent members of the NYPD who were on the receiving end of a snowball fight started by residents.
During an interview on Wednesday, MAGA influencer Benny Johnson alleged to Giuliani that the people throwing snowballs at the officers after a recent storm were guilty of “attempted murder.”
“No death, thank God,” Giuliani agreed. “Those are not being thrown for fun. Those are being thrown as hard as they can.”
“That’s a mob!” Johnson exclaimed. “There’s a mob of like military-age men that are chasing.”
“And it’s the symbol of it also,” Giuliani remarked. “You have the greatest police department, the largest police department in America, being routed by a group of illegals or otherwise, well, they’re all illegal in throwing things at cops.”
“I do think the police should have turned around as a group, then arrested every single damn one of them, whatever it took,” he continued. “I would defend them against a civilian complaint, although I’m disbarred. Maybe I could do that. Or I could get lawyers to do it.”
“And I’m sorry, guys, I love you. I really love you. I love all of you, and I know what you’re going through.”
