Before our daughter was born, my husband and I argued, but always resolved our disagreements. Now, nine months into parenthood, we can’t get through any conversation about parenting without him shutting down. Last week, I tried to discuss introducing solid foods, and he said, “This conversation is over,” and walked away. It happens every time — sleep schedules, day care, how to respond when she cries. I’m terrified we’re breaking. How can we be a team in raising her if he won’t even stay in the room?
