Logan Paul blasted his brother Jake Paul’s criticism of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show.
The beef between the two brothers started when Jake declared via X that he wasn’t watching the six-time Grammy winner’s performance and advised others to follow suit.
“Purposefully turning off the halftime show,” Jake tweeted to his 4.4 million followers. “Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them). You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime.”
The YouTuber also called Bad Bunny — who was born in Puerto Rico and is a U.S. citizen — “a fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America.”
“I cannot support that,” Jake concluded.
Logan, 30, clapped back at his sibling, replying, “I love my brother but I don’t agree with this.”
“Puerto Ricans are Americans & I’m happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island,” Logan added in his X post.
The WWE star owns and lives in a $32 million home in Puerto Rico that he’s shown off on his YouTube page.
Following his brother’s backlash, Jake clarified his comments about Bad Bunny in follow-up tweets.
“The problem with my tweet is the word fake being misinterpreted,” Jake, 29, began Monday morning. “He’s not a fake citizen obviously bc hes Puerto Rican and I love Puerto Rico and all Americans who support the country Moreso Bunny is fake bc of his values and criticism of our great country.
He continued, “To clarify: I wasn’t calling anyone a ‘fake citizen’ because they’re from Puerto Rico. I live in Puerto Rico, and I love Puerto Rico. I have used my platform to support Puerto Rico time and time again and will always do so. But if you’re publicly criticizing ICE who are doing their job and openly hating on America, I’m going to speak on it. Period. That’s the same reason I called out Hunter Hess.
“If you benefit from a country and the platform it gives you, but publicly disrespect it at the same time, that’s what I mean by being a fake citizen,” Jake stated. “And I agree love is more powerful than hate. Love America.”
Bad Bunny, who has also wrestled for the WWE, headlined the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
The 31-year-old celebrated his native country by performing some of his hits like “Tití Me Preguntó,” “Yo Perreo Sola” and “DtMF,” as Cardi B, Jessica Alba, Karol G, Pedro Pascal and Alix Earle danced around him.
Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin both made guest appearances during the show. Gaga sang a surprise rendition of her and Bruno Mars’ “Die with a Smile,” while Martin sang “Lo Que Pasó a Hawaii.”
Bad Bunny’s performance was celebrated by some and criticized by others, including President Trump.
“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” Trump, 79, wrote on Truth Socialduring the game. “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.”
“Nobody understands a word this guy is saying,” the president continued, “and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”
