Staggering Nancy Guthrie ransom demand revealed by local TV station

The fiends who claim they have kidnapped Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy are demanding $6 million in Bitcoin, a local TV station revealed.

“Multiple ransom notes have been sent out to the media, including one that was sent to us,” JJ McKinney from Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN9 reported.

“In the letter, the potential kidnappers demanded that the Guthries pay them $6 million before this Monday.”

The ransom note writers said Nancy’s Guthrie’s life is in peril if the deadline – set for 5 p.m. local time on Monday – isn’t met, the outlet reported.

Savannah Guthrie and her siblings – Annie and Camron – pleaded to the anonymous suspectsin a new message Saturday night, begging for the return of their mother.

“We received your message and we understand,”  the “Today” anchor said on Instagram, alongside her brother and sister.

“We beg you now to return our mother to us, so that we can celebrate with her,” she added, later saying that her mother’s return is “very valuable to us” and “we will pay.”

“This is the only way we will have peace,” Savannah said.

Sunday marks the eighth day in the intensive search for Nancy, who was last seen on Jan. 31, after having dinner and a game night at daughter Annie’s home.

Nancy was reported missing at around noon on Feb. 1.

On Saturday, cops made yet another sweep at Annie’s home and Nancy’s home, both in Tucason.

Authorities have not publicly detailed the purpose of the activity or what, if anything, was recovered.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office has said the investigation remains active, with no suspects or persons of interest identified as of Saturday night.
