Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are on the right track.
Insiders are rooting for the Skims founder and F1 British racing driver amid what appears to be an accelerating relationshipbetween the pair. They’ve been friends for years and were seen together on a recent romantic European excursion.
And, while the new couple seem to be taking things cautiously, sources are waving the green flag and saying that Kardashian may have met her match after years of hassle with ex-husband Kanye West.
“Lewis can go from politics, to diet, to spirituality . . . They’re in the same circles,” said one source close to Hamilton, who noted that the pair are both high octane, with his connections in Europe and her dominance of the US, equating them to having “power couple” potential.
Kardashian, 45, left Los Angeles last Saturday afternoon in her private jet to meet the F1 driver, 41, for a stay at the Estelle Manor, a luxury hotel and country club in the Cotswolds, an idyllic area in South Central England.
They enjoyed a “very romantic” weekend, a source told The Sun.
In the Cotswolds, the pair — who were flanked by security guards — pampered themselves and enjoyed private access to the hotel pool and spa, where they had a couple’s massage, insiders told The Sun.
Their spa time was followed by an intimate dinner for two in a private room of the hotel void of other guests and fanfare, the outlet noted. From there, they jetted to Paris.
Kardashian lit up the City of Lights for a date night with Lewis. She was snapped in a sheer lace Balenciagaturtleneck tucked into a pair of leggings en route to dinner at a Japanese restaurant. On Instagram, she shared a view of the Eiffel Tower set to the song “La Bohème” by Charles Aznavour.
Insiders say the romantic rendezvous is a welcome respite for Kardashian, who seems to be having fun after years of turmoil with West, whom she divorced in November 2022.
“Let her be happy,” a source familiar with Kardashian told Page Six. “[Hamilton] is one of the kindest guys to be around. She’s a super kind, genuine person that opens up her heart. She tried to make it work with Ye for how long?”
As her marriage unraveled, Kardashian was subjected to personal and public attacks on social media, which she has called a “toxic” situation, particularly after she filed for divorce in 2021.
During that time, West seemingly attacked Kardashian publicly on Instagram for letting their eldest daughter North, who was 8 at the time, be on TikTok without his permission.
Kardashian addressed the comment in her own social media post, noting that she was doing her best to protect their daughter while letting her have “creativity in the medium she wishes” because it brings her “happiness.”
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
While they seem to be in a more peaceful co-parenting place now, she and Hamilton are reportedly doing everything they can not to trigger West.
“They are concerned about what Kanye would think about this, since he was friends with Lewis in the past,” a source told the Daily Mail on Tuesday, adding that the “Kardashians” star “doesn’t want to make this look like she is poking the bear.”
According to the source, both she and Hamilton “know that this could trigger Kanye in so many ways,” which is partly why they are keeping things low-key.
Not everyone thinks Ye is deserving of such consideration.
“His wife [Bianca Censori] is walking around half nakedall the time, who gives a f–k what he thinks?” a source familiar with Kardashian told Page Six.
But Kardashian has shown support for her ex-husband, wearing a pair of Yeezy heels while in Aspen for New Year’s and speaking positively of him in a recent Complex interview.
“We’ll always be family,” the Skims creator, 45, told the magazine. “We both know that. We will be OK, and there’s so much love for our family.”
Hamilton and Kardashian apparently met while she was married to West. They were first photographed together at the Balmain after-show dinner during Fashion Week in March 2015.
There, Kim appeared next to the fashion house’s then-creative director Olivier Rousteing with Lewis standing next to West.
Six months later, in September 2015, she and West were seen at the GQ Men Of The Yearawards. Lewis was also in attendance — with Nicole Scherzinger, the 47-year-old Tony Award-winning actress and singer. The couples were photographed side-by-side.
Around that time, it was rumored that Hamilton was dating Kardashian’s younger half-sister, Kendall Jenner, 30, which he swiftly denied, telling E! News, “Me and Kendall have been friends for a while, so we’re just friends.”
Over the years, Kardashian and Hamilton have weaved in and out of each other’s orbit. In 2021, they both attended WSJ Magazine’s innovator awards. Last December, they were both seen at Kate Hudson’s New Years Eve party in Aspen.
The mother-of-four opened up about her dating life to younger sister Khloe Kardashian on her podcast in January when asked if she was seeing anyone.
“Honestly, no. Isn’t that crazy? . . . I just feel like my kids need me. It’s really hard when I have to put them to bed every night. I get them up. I take them to school. I get them ready. They sleep in my bed,” she said. “I haven’t had time — and I’m okay with that. I thought, ‘You know what? I’m going to be studying. I won’t have time. When I’m done, I’ll open myself up.’ I opened myself up. But it’s just, I haven’t found anyone. And that’s okay.”
With Hamilton, she seems to have finally found someone.
He was born in Stevenage, England, to immigrant parents from the West Indies. They divorced when Hamilton was just 2 years old.
By the tender age of 8, he was behind the wheel of a go-kart and began competing in races and winning championships.
He credits his father, Anthony Hamilton, with being his mentor and support system. The older Hamilton once worked three different jobs so his son could afford to excel in the sport.
When he’s not behind the wheel, Lewis has been known to relish other sports.
“He said, ‘If I could quit everything, I would just surf.’ His brain is in 10th gear speed-wise and adrenaline-wise. He loves the sport,” pro-surfer pal Kelly Slater, 53, told Page Six.
“He’s such a combination, in my perspective, of really intense and super laid back. He’s intense because he likes to do a lot of things and he likes to be good at all those things. He has that competitive mindset. Whether it’s music, surfing golf too,” Slater said.
“He’s definitely a guy of principle,” he added.
The seven-time winning Formula One World Champion has also been linked to some of the world’s biggest stars. After he and Scherzinger split in 2015, the British race car driver reportedly dated Gigi Hadid and Rihanna that same year.
In the decade since, he’s been rumored to have dated a number of singers, actresses and supermodels, including Winnie Harlow, Sofia Richie Grainge, Nicki Minaj, Shakira and Sofía Vergara.
Kardashian, meanwhile, is paving her own way at the intersection of business, entertainment and activism. The reality star rose to fame with “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” on E!, which was reborn as “The Kardashians” on Hulu in 2022.
In 2025, she finished law school and is now working to pass the bar exam.
She most recently starred in Ryan Murphy’s legal drama “All’s Fair” alongside Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor, Glen Close and Naomi Watts.
A second insider familiar with Kardashian told Page Six that dating Hamilton is a cunning move, just as with her relationship with Pete Davidson in 2021, amid her divorce.
“Kim, she has a type. It’s not so much of a type of person — it’s a type of personality in the media,” they said. “She picks people that the media are going to look favorably on. They have a cool swag in their image, in some way shape or form.”
Indeed, the starry match comes as the Skims founder gets into the women’s activewear business after recently locking in a partnership with Nike for a standalone women’s activewear line, NikeSKIMS.
While Kim and Lewis appear to be enjoying time together, the second source told Page Six, “[Kim] doesn’t want to hard launch something that isn’t serious. They could have just started dating in the last couple months.”
Whatever happens, Lewis has a fan in Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, who, according to The Sun, reportedly once joked years ago: “Which one of my daughters can I marry off to you?”
