Sonja Morgan is optimistic another ‘RHONY’ alum will appear on ‘The Golden Life’ after all: ‘I wouldn’t count her out’

Never say never!

Sonja Morgan is optimistic that fan-favorite “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Dorinda Medley will appear on “The Golden Life.”

When asked by Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real about Medley’s absence from the upcoming E! show, Morgan insisted, “It’s not over ’til the fat lady sings.”

Although the socialite “wouldn’t count Dorinda out” when it comes to making an appearance, the TV personality — who chatted with us while promoting her partnership with BetUS — did have some opinions on why Medley wasn’t casted in the upcoming series.

According to Morgan, E! was looking for a cast that “really are friends” and “loyal to each other.”

“You have spats over day-to-day things like sisters would,” she elaborated.

Morgan “wouldn’t count Dorinda out” of making an appearance, but she did have some theories on why Medley isn’t part of the cast.

“They want the satirical comedy that people could feel good about … Not mean comments that my husband’s family may not appreciate since they are the founders of a big banking industry,” Morgan said, referring to her late ex-husband, John Adams Morgan, a prominent financier and heir to the J.P. Morgan banking legacy.

She then quoted several memorable digs that Medley took at her while on “RHONY” together as reasons why the “Traitors” star may have not been a fit for this cast.

“We don’t need people taking their money out of the bank because I have a Holland Tunnel or because I’m f—king around in St. Tropez because it’s not true.”

After Morgan’s apparent shade at Medley, 61, Real questioned if they were on good terms, but the reality star insisted that the two of them are “always alright.”

“I’m just talking about what they are looking for and it’s not over,” she clarified. “I wouldn’t count Dorinda out. I wouldn’t count [Jules Wainstein] out. I wouldn’t count [Aviva Drescher] out.”

A rep for Medley was not immediately available to Page Six for comment.

“I wouldn’t even count [Bethenny Frankel] out,” she declared, even though an insider told Page Six that Frankel has “closed the chapter on reality television.”

“There’s no one I wouldn’t want to film with,” she said.

Morgan, 62, is most excited about filming with her longtime friend Ramona Singer, who she feels was “misunderstood, misquoted and taken out of context” on “RHONY.”

“I know her very well for a very long time. So I would like to see her film and let people see her soft side again. She’s a caregiver, she’s a very good friend, she would give you the shirt off her back.”

Page Six was the first to report that several OG members of “RHONY” signed a deal with E!.
