Do you like dinner parties? Have you hosted or been to any memorable ones?
The Times reports that New York’s hottest dinner party is in an apartment in the South Bronx, with almost 4,500 people on a waiting list!
There, Eddy Cruz and his boyfriend, Pedro Paredes, (pictured above) throw a monthly Dominican-themed supper club for 10 people — often strangers — where they and their family serve dishes such as pollo guisado (stewed chicken), costillitas (oven baked ribs) and coconut flan.
Would you like to go?
What would your ideal dinner party be like? What would be on the menu and who would you want to be guests? Would you want a theme or aesthetic? Would you invite friends or strangers?
