Nicola Peltz is still on good terms with her wedding DJ, Fat Tony, after he publicly backed her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s account of mom Victoria’s “inappropriate” dance on him at the couple’s 2022 wedding.
The “Bates Motel” actress, 31, proved her support by “liking” the DJ’s Saturday morning Instagram post reflecting on “unconditional love.”
“It’s great to be back home,” Tony wrote alongside a photo of his two dogs. “Thought of the day ……the power of unconditional love.”
Tony’s post comes after Brooklyn released a scathing statement, distancing himself from his family and accusing his parents of trying to “ruin” his relationship with Peltz.
Among the list of accusations he hurled at his parents, the hot sauce entrepreneur, 26, claimed his mother “hijacked” his wedding dance with Peltz and danced “very inappropriately” on him, leaving him “humiliated.”
In his Friday interview on UK’s “This Morning,” Tony corroborated Brooklyn’s claims and insisted that singer Marc Anthony, who was performing on stage at the time, was to blame for some of the “really awkward” moment.
The DJ claimed the musician had called “the most beautiful woman in the room to come up to the stage,” before saying Victoria’s name and then instructed her son to “place your hands on your mother’s hips.”
“There was no slut-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action!” Tony clarified.
The DJ further clarified that he called the scene “inappropriate” because of the timing.
“What happened was, basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto stage,” he recalled.
“Brooklyn went on to the stage, and the next minute everyone’s expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage – and then he says ‘Victoria, come to the stage.’”
The stunt left Brooklyn “devastated” and prompted Peltz to “leave the room, crying her eyes out.”
With many celebrities taking sides in the feud, it’s clear what side Tony has taken.
David Beckham and Victoria have not yet directly commented on their son’s claims. Though, the parents both returned to Instagram on Wednesday, posting for their friends’ birthdays.
In their first public comments since Brooklyn’s statement was posted, the two reflected on “good memories” featuring their son in the comments under a post from British photographer Platon.
